Preschool & Community Garden

St Stephen’s Episcopal Preschool

The preschool opened its doors in 1990 as an outreach ministry program of St. Stephen’s. Our desire was and still is to fill the need in our community by providing a quality education with a Christian background.

At St. Stephen’s Episcopal Preschool, the curriculum is designed with young children in mind.  Our program provides systemic learning in language and early literacy, mathematics, social studies, science, dramatic play, and social and personal growth.   Students are encouraged to explore, experiment, and engage in learning opportunities within the classroom and beyond.  A daily rotation of “Special” classes introduce our preschoolers to a variety of new experiences such as Chapel, Music & Movement, and Musikgarten.  We aim to instill confidence in our preschoolers and to help them develop a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their time in school, and beyond!

We’d love to welcome you to our St. Stephen’s family. Please reach out to us to schedule a visit to our preschool!

Rooted in Education Community Garden

The Rooted in Education Fare Harvest Garden is a project jointly managed by the preschool and church. It provides a learning environment for the preschool students as well as free vegetables for the community.
Volunteers who weed, water, and occasionally harvest are deeply appreciated.
